BLUEMOONSTONE CREATIONS Jewelry Designer, Pamela Forman, graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA and currently lives in Providence, RI, where she’s been designing jewelry for 27 years. After a transforming journey through the magical land of Bali in 2008, a spark was ignited, which lead her on a path to design her line of jewelry. She connected to skilled artisans in Bali who could handcraft her designs, and in 2012, she launched Bluemoonstone Creations. 

While each piece begins in Pamela’s studio in Providence, where she designs and renders detailed illustrations that define the form, scale, and various views, she travels to Bali each year to work closely with her team of artisans throughout the handcrafting process of each piece.

Pamela’s collection has expanded to over 150 Sterling Silver and 18K Gold Vermeil pieces, which ship worldwide. She has hosted over 230 Trunk Shows at Bloomingdale’s and currently hosts Trunk Shows at Canyon Ranch, Kripalu, and at art festivals in the Northeast. Her jewelry can be also be purchased here on the website, at Kripalu, and at other retail locations. In 2020, she won the Joseph G.E. Knight Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence.

With her solid foundation in design, creativity, and visionary eye for beauty, Pamela approaches day with gratitude and infuses each piece with positive energy, hoping her work brings a sense of harmony, empowerment, and spiritual connection to those who wear it. 

Pamela’s designs feature fine handcrafted Sterling Silver and 18K Gold Vermeil jewelry, accented by Rainbow Moonstones, Opals, Labradorite, Tibetan Turquoise, and Baltic Amber, chosen for their natural beauty and healing properties to promote spiritual awareness, positivity, and protection. Inspired by her travels through Bali, Art Nouveau, yoga, and astrology, her work reflects a bohemian spirit with Victorian charm.

Emphasis is placed on precision, balance, and radiance, ensuring that her jewelry reflects both refined craftsmanship and aesthetic appeal. Her work embodies a commitment to unique design, traditional metal-smithing, and meaningful gemstones, offering talismans that celebrate personal expression, timeless artistry, and radiant beauty.

We are truly fortunate to work with our talented and cherished team in Bali, who have become an extended family over the past decade. Our collaboration is built on mutual respect, equality, and a shared commitment to excellence. Three of the head managers (pictured with Pamela), and the facility's dedicated owner, Janet, are women, and everyone on the staff is treated equally.

Filled with Balinese sunshine, the environment radiates serenity. Each day commences with heartfelt prayer offerings and rituals, expressing gratitude for the land and creating a sacred sanctuary for protection and prosperity. Twice a month, they unite for the Full Moon Ceremony and New Moon Ceremony, where they offer reverence, seek blessings, and embark on a journey of spiritual purification. 

At the heart of our Bali team lies a harmonious blend of tradition, community, and dedication. Handcrafted in this sacred space, our jewelry carries with it the aura of these daily rituals, making it not just a beautiful adornment, but a talisman woven with protection and good luck.
